What do we do?
Theatre Group offers a number of ways for anyone to get involved with the society; whether you are interested in performing, directing, writing or stage management and design, there is always something for you to get involved with! We perform 8 or more shows a year, 4 per semester, with the opportunity to be involved with one of two shows we take to the Edinburgh Fringe in summer. We also run a number of workshops, alumni events and socials for you to practice your skills and meet new people.
Who are we?
We are one of Leeds University's longest running societies, founded in 1919. We are a student lead Theatre Group dedicated to showing the multitude of talents within our university through a variety of theatre based activities.
Where can you find us?
We perform and rehearse in a variety of spaces in both the Union building and Stage@Leeds. We have 4 regular performances venues; StageOne, The Alec Clegg Studio and Banham Theatre with Stage@Leeds, while we have Pyramid Theatre in the Union Building. Our events and rehearsals will usually be in one of these two buildings.
